The Vision

From Genesis 1, the LORD made it explicitly known that we are created in His Image. But this truth was not enough to stop Adam from eating the fruit. Though he bore his image, he was not able to share in his likeness due to the consequences of sin, BUT GOD had a greater plan. Through the redeeming work on the cross by his Son, we can now be “Christ-like”. With the mystery unfolded, this newfound freedom makes it possible to be made right with Our Creator, to be ambassadors for his kingdom, and to confidently and boldly approach the throne of grace, perfect and blameless, not by ourselves, but through our king forevermore, Jesus. We are the Image of Christ.
